This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
when you convert a point light to area light in the mental ray node of the light you can change the shape node (regtangle, disc, sphere, cylinder, user...), i guess "user" is to define your own object as a light, but how do you connect them???, how dou you make any object act as a light?
