an interior

starting a project that i wana to actually finish now, going for an interior, some sort of office room or study type room. thought i would start a w.i.p as i have never really done one up here before and would like some proper feedback. i wana try and be as detailed as possible in both rendering and modelling so im guna take my time on this one.

here is the start

Looks nice, like the curtains particularly.

How did you make them?

cheers,

cheers gubar

the curtains were just made by making an e.p. curve in the shape that you think looks good for curtains, then i duplicated it and changed it slightly and moved it down. then lofted between the 2 curves.
and to get them billowing in the wind i just used a lattice deformer. thakes a while to get them looking ok, still not happy with the one on the left at the mo.

The objects are looking nice, but I'd like to see some composition. All the random objects aren't giving me an idea as to what you're going for.

Ah, yes. I like it a lot so far. I see what you mean with the sofa idea.

i've finsihed with the modelling for the time being. still not happy with a few things, the sofa for instance. want to crack on and get some textures applied. i will probably go back and tweak models and add things as i go.

crits and comments encouraged!
