Nice photo if your skill with Maya lights and textures matches your camera work, I'll be very impressed user added image

render and mesh of front shape (glass) on pictures are a bit different because I have problem with glass shape (it is really hard to measure the right dimensions).. but I will post repair on mesh tomorrow... .. and new renders...

looks pretty cool man

Looking really good Serzz.

Chirone: good question, I was wondering the same thing...is it not the handle for the bend nonlinear deformer? to curve up the tip of the landing gear there....??

Excellent work & skill, great approach, and fast! I'm jealous :-) !
Are you using a Linear Work Flow / Gamma Corrected ?
Keep kicking butt, all my best!

Good morning...

Chirone : the third picture is showing wings for the helicopter user added image
All those locators are for measurements of the object... (usually I try to create object in scale 1:1)

ben hobden: yes... measurement tool.. user added image

joshpurple: yes, I am using linear working flow (gamma corrections, camera exposure, mental ray lights....)
and all MIA materials.. I think if you work that way you can correct all the problems with textures..

Cheers to all.. user added image

i meant to ask about your first screen shot with all those locators on the ground and the pink circle, and was asking about the blue box-like curve (sorry, dont know the names of the parts of your helicopter)
