whats the best possible way for me to import my animations from maya to actually be a real video format like quicktime or something like that?

Use the batch render to render the animation out as an image squence. Make sure in the render globals it says "name.#.ext". Then use this free little piece of software to compile them https://www.gromada.com/videomach.html
