Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Batch Render not rendering properly

Hi,

I'm getting this weird problem when I try to do a batch render. The first few hundred frames will render out ok, and then a few frames will start showing up completely dark except for a weird green glow, and by the end the whole thing is rendering just plain wrong. Here's a clip (6MB, Quicktime):

And here's some stills:

The most common problem is the green glow, but a few frames have what appears to be just a spontaneous occurrance of excessively bright lighting. The frames render out incorrectly only when batch rendered; they look ok if I render them in the Render View. Also, I've rendered the thing twice and each time the problem has occurred in different frames. I have no idea what's going on, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
