Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Looking nice.

Are you going to place some thicker aerials on the head just leave the out of the design?

I'm not going to use the ariels in the concept pic. I'm going to give him new ones.

Here is a animated gif with new ariels. These ariels are just place holders for the official one's, but they will look very much the same.

Glad you like the new helmet arran! user added image

I haven't really decided on a particular pose. I may go with the refference pic, but I might go with something else. The pose in the refference pic is from Dreamwave's TF comics, and they have many cool character poses through out the comic series. I would also like to add a short animation of him before the deadline but I don't know if I will have the time.

Update.

It's been a while since my last one. Been working on new joint concepts for the legs and shoulders. Rigging this mech has been a fun challenge. I want to make him as flexible as possible. I'm really glad the deadline has been extended a week.

Here is a quick little render of him in action.

Comments are welcome.
