Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Ideally, I think I like working with drawings tbh

Loomis has some drawings here and there - you can probably find some front/side images of his one fineart

Quality find! Bookmarked, Ive got some 3dsk ones that were free with 3d world. that arereally good, I keep thinking of signing up to 3dsk.

One of those cons looks like Bill Oddie!

well, not really :bandit:
but modeling/art wise that's actually quite good as I suppose you'd want something a bit more distinct, -some real characters. The last thing I'd want were more people looking like the everyday faces on tv and advertising

here's a great place to find human anatomy references:
www.the-blueprints.com they have have humans as well as hundreds and hundreds of other blueprints to work from.

on the left, click on humans, then in the center, click humans again (it's right under animals) then click the photos you want to see :p
