Its only some thing to be aware of. If you are getting any problem when uv i.e very dark areas on the checked board pattern or seam that dont line up switch that off or harden or soften edges, If you have layed the uvs out corretly there should be no stretching on a none smooth mesh.........dave

Another small update, just doing geometry tweaks concurrently with texturing...

I think this will be the expression on the mouth, a little less cartoony, hopefully more like gordon.

Alright, I'm just doing some test renders now, I'll get my entry up in the next little bit. I guess I've got the last midnight of pretty much everyone here, so hope nobody minds my extra couple hours user added image

I figure over a whole month it's not much of an advantage, and anyway, all the submissions so far have been super awesome, I'm really impressed.

And the final... I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, and I learned a whole lot with this project.
