Yeah, I tried that one, but I like the ring that this one has on it. It may change to a different optical effect in the end, however. These are not yet finalized in post. But thanks for the tip.

only reason I suggested that is because it's blatantly obvious you used a photoshop lensflare to begin with ;P

That particular lens flare is the one they tell you not to use because "lens flares are cheesy".

I think when used correctly they can add to an image in a good way hehe.

nice work btw

Really nice stuff. Do you have any test animations to give a taste of how that's coming?

btw. I must agree with 3dgurl - that lenz flare looks very out of the box.

I like the moody dark shots the best.

THESIS DONE

Hey guys! I'm done!! WOOHOO! Final Thesis project is turned in, paper is handed in, and Im out of school! WOOP WOOP! PULL OVER DAT A$$ IZ 2 PHAT!

Anyway... Want to see it? I hope you got the time cause I could only compress it down to 60MB. Yeah, sorry, but the original movie is almost 1GB! Does anyone know how to compress it any further without sacrificing any more quality? It was 720x486, but to make it smaller I had to shrink it to 320x240.

Well, if you want to see it, CLICK ME! It's DivX compressed so you'll need DivX to see it.

Oh btw.. All those rexes in this thread that used to be pictures, well, after revamping my site I forgot I had them on the server and not locally on my HD, so when I deleted the old site, they went with it. :p Ah well... Who needs them now when you can see the finished product.

Enjoy! user added image

I tried to watch it... but after the intro text, everything turns black.

What codecs am I missing? I can watch the movie, and some parts of it is visible, the rest is black... what kind of problem is that anyways... user added image
