Texture stretched?

Hi there, I'm just wondering why my texture is stretched in the 2nd image? (it's just an extruded polygon cube with a blinn material assigned to the entire object with the image file attached as a colour node)

You need to redo the UVs so as there is no stretch...........dave

Thanks, is there a tutorial you could point me in the direction of? I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing such a thing!
